Over the coming summer months Theatre of Voices will be performing its current Arvo Pärt program - featuring the 'Stabat Mater' - in various countries, including a visit to Israel. We will record this music in June.

Ars Nova Copenhagen is premiering a new work by Australian composer Ross Edwards - 'Sacred Kingfisher Psalms' .and Lou Harrison's chant-style 'Mass for Saint Cecilia'.

In June in Nuremberg they will then premiere a new work by Israeli-American composer Shulamit Ran -'das was geschah - that which happened' - for which they will be joined by the Rascher Saxophone Quartet. This promises to be a compelling work, setting texts by Paul Celan, and from Genesis and Job.

Later in the summer Ars Nova will perform in New York's Lincon Center, (as part of the Mostly Mozart Festival) singing Bach, Xenakis, and Ligeti.

Then in August Theatre of Voices will participate in the opening concert of this year's Edinburgh International Festival. And on September 1st I return to Edinburgh with Ars Nova to perform the new Ross Edwards work and music by David Lang, Jack Body, Lou Harrison, Steve Reich and Terry Riley.
